Summary:

The Premium Seating Sales Executive is responsible for generating new revenue with a focus on Executive Suites and Club Cambria.  This position will be responsible for a new sales goal with revenue generated from cold calls, networking, referrals, call-ins and package upgrades.  This is a sales intensive position.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

-          Primary focus is to generate new Executive Suite Lease revenue, Event Suite Revenue and Club Cambria revenue.  Additional goals and responsibilities as assigned by Director of Premium Seating.

-          Effectively and efficiently prospect for new revenue through researching industries, companies and individuals; cold calling; attending charity events and networking events; becoming a member of chambers or other business networking groups; conducting professional meetings with potential candidates; entertaining at games and events; getting referrals, and creating a network that you are able to grow over time.

-          Meet minimum Hustle Board expectations each week of 200 points.  Hustle Board tracks calls (1 point) and meetings (10 points).  Formula:  Calls à Meetings = Results.  Employee should expect to make 40 new business calls each day, in addition to following up on previous calls and contacts.

-          Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients through proactive communication including seat/suite visits, touch points, phone calls, emails, invitations, events, and other communication channels.

-          Anticipate, respond to, and resolve all complaints, requests, and inquiries from clients and prospects; handle difficult clients and situations in a calm and professional manner, ensuring that each client interaction results in increased loyalty to the team.

-          Ensure customer and account data, profile requirements, and communication recordings are accurate and complete.

-          Assist in executing customized programs, benefits and events to drive loyalty with prospects and clients.

-          Develop a three-year, one-year, monthly and weekly plan for growing your business. 

-          Work closely with the Director of Premium Seating to understand how we are selling, packaging and advertising our products so that we send a consistent message into the marketplace.  You will also work hand in hand with the Account Executives who will assist you in providing service for your prospects and clients.

-          Become an expert on all product offerings.

-          Practice the “Timberwolves Way” of selling:  1) Sell Results, Act Successful and Create Urgency.  2) Learn and incorporate the 7 Skills of a successful sale.  3) Utilize the Timberwolves Business Advantage (Maximize the Investment, Create the Experience, Measure the Results). 

-          Actively engage in the on-going Sales Training provided by the Timberwolves and continue to sharpen and improve skills and abilities.

-          Create unique, customized experiences for clients each and every time they are in our arena.  Show them a great time, everything matters, exceed their expectations and have fun.

-          Must be a team player eager to support members of the Premium Seating department as well as the entire Timberwolves staff.  Each employee in accordance with team guidelines and in a positive manner must always represent the Timberwolves brand 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

-     Bachelors Degree

-     Proven record of sales achievements

-     Experience selling to and working with President/CEO level executives

-     Organized and detail oriented

-     Proven ability to work as a team member

-     Self-motivated

-     Proficient written and verbal communication skills required

-     Proficient computer skills required (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).  Archtics background is a plus.

-     Strong customer services skills required

-     You will need to be at most all Timberwolves and Lynx home games as well as many       Target Center concerts and events during the year.  This job is not a 9-5 position and candidates should be aware of the time commitment and unique hours that are required to be successful.
